Expedition Midpoint
The first photo book in the series “Expedition Midpoint” documents the search for the geographical center of the 64 municipalities of the province of West Flanders, supplemented with the center of the province itself. This search became a bicycle tour along all municipalities of West Flanders.
In this second photo book, “On the Road”, the image of the province as it presents itself on this journey is documented. How do we live and work, where do we live? Once again a nuanced picture of a rural province where there is still a lot of open space, where people live or work almost everywhere, with the absurdities inherent to being Flemish.
